A Journey to Kota Tua: Riding the Rails from Daru Station to Jakarta Kota Station

Weekends are made for escaping the routine. This time, I decided to go on a little nostalgic trip to Kota Tua Jakarta. Instead of taking a car, a bus, or an online ride, I chose to take the commuter line from Daru Station. It's cheaper, and honestly, there's just something different about it. Starting from Daru Station, a Calm Morning. At 9 AM, I was already hanging out at Daru Station. It's quiet, not as crowded as the stations in the city center. I tapped my card and walked in. The sound of the train slowly approaching from the distance-honestly, it always gets me excited. A Long ride, but worth the experience. The train from Daru runs on the Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung Line. The route is quite long, but if you enjoy watching the city slowly shift from countryside to urban, this is totally worth it.
